I graduated with an honours degree in Human Biology in 1972 and have a career history connected with medicine and health. I have had a life long interest in health and healing and particularly complementary therapies and energy medicine. I am a firm believer healing involves treating the whole person and that with a little help, we essentially heal ourselves.

In 1999, I wanted to become more actively involved in helping the healing process and started reiki training with Susanne Manning from the north of England, and completed my reiki level 3 master practitioner in 2003. In the same year, I studied Indian head massage with a Linda Graham from the Institute of Indian Head massage and have been practising the therapies in tandem.

I have lived and worked in Highland Perthshire for the past 15 years and juggle work with numerous interests, including hill walking , skiing, gardening, theatre, film, music. I have two grown up sons and a very large cat.
